The Caring Congregation ministry was established by the pastors and staff at Resurrection Church in Kansas City, MO. It uses a team approach that empowers pastors and laity working together to effectively support our congregation and community. The national website is: www.thecaringcongregation.com
Each one of our lay Congregational Care Ministers (CCM) has said yes to the call God has placed on their lives. Our CCM’s have completed a two-day training seminar with the national Caring Congregation trainers. This training emphasizes how to listen effectively while keeping all information confidential. Our Congregational Care Ministers are a spiritual presence in your time of need. They can provide resources for mental health, family support through addiction, and food or other basic necessities.
