UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

The United Methodist Women is a community committed to fellowship, study, service and local and global missions. We have a fantastic group of ladies in the church and enjoy getting together as a large group and also in the following small groups:
  • Ruth Circle
    • Meet once a month for fun and fellowship.
    • Open to all women.
    • Fun games and a time to get to know each other over a meal.
  • Square 2
    • Meetings: The first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in various members’ homes or at the church.
    • Open to all women.
    • Light snacks, time in scripture, and a small service project.
  • Reading Women Book Club
    • Meets the first Tuesday evening of the month.
    • September through May.
    • Read and discuss one book a month.
    • Mostly secular books and some contain Scriptural references.

ANNUAL WOMEN'S RETREAT

Once a year we travel to a retreat center for a relaxing and renewing weekend that allows for intentional Sabbath, study, and spiritual growth. Our time together includes Bible study, fellowship, free time, and lots of fun! Our annual retreat for 2024 will be April 19-21 at Epworth by the Sea, St. Simon's Georgia.  Click here to visit our women's retreat information and registration page.

KNITTING GROUP

(Not really restricted to just women!) We enjoy great fellowship while making hand-made items for local and congregational ministries. We also work on individual projects.  This group meets the first and third Sunday afternoon at 2pm at the church.  Watch the bulletin or look at the Events calendar to find the next class.
